Friday, 25th April 2008 Peugeot’s Dream 308 RC Z Concept Car Becomes a Reality Mr Jean-Philippe Collin, Director General of Automobiles Peugeot has announced at the Lisbon Motor Show that the 308 RC Z Concept Car will be going into full production. The final production model will be unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, two years after the concept car was first presented to the public and will then go on sale in the spring of 2010. The Peugeot 308 RC Z concept car provoked great enthusiasm and aroused keen interest from the general public when it was unveiled. Now the dream will become reality. The distinctive style of the production car, the result of the creative imaginations of designers working at the Peugeot Style Centre, will keep all the appeal and excitement of the original concept car alive. This unique model is one of the first results to come from Peugeot’s CAP 2010 strategy, whereby the company is focusing heavily on customer satisfaction, acceleration of new product arrivals and product quality. With the announcement of plans to put the RC Z into production, Peugeot has clearly demonstrated a willingness to break away from the traditional look of its coupes and to deliver a unique product proposition with highly original styling.
